"I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day. And I believe in miracles."

A Merry Little Christmas

If you've been reading my blog for awhile, you know that holidays at my house are all about the three F's: food, family, and fun. Well, I guess everyone's holidays are about the three F's haha, but for some reason I feel that we really go all out!!! Either way, here are some pictures from our Christmas:

And some of the yummies we enjoyed that night...
we decided to mix it up a bit instead of making all of the same ol' dishes:

appetizer: cheesy onion dip
(I swear by this stuff. Make it for a party if you want to be popular)

sweet mushroom pasta
(I kinda made up the recipe for this. Basically caramelized onions,
mushrooms, white wine, cream cheese, and parmesan. Yummay!!!)

Pioneer Woman's Pasta Carbonara
(...enough said.)

rack of lamb
(Dad made this. It was delicious...)
(P.S. Ewww I have no idea what that blue spot is!)

short ribs my dad made... also amazing

and (of course) our traditional mashed potatoes & candied yams

So a couple things:
I love Melissa's hair straight.
You are right about the certain hair color change you mentioned when you saw me last.
I want to spend Christmas with your family because it just looks like so much fun
I can't believe how grown up Bailey looks! She's just as gorgeous as the rest of you.
And please, please, please come see me soon. I feel like January is probably too busy for you. But February or even March... I miss you.
