exploring Cusco...
Peruvian food was good but not as great as everybody cracked it up to be...
I think we were just relieved to not eat Chilean food (sorry Chileans!!).
I would still rank my favorite foods as: Mexican, Japanese, Chinese, Italian, and Thai.

Is that the Catedral de San Francisco in one of those pictures? I have several pictures from that same courtyard. I loved Peru. Honestly i liked everywhere in South America i have been except for Ecuador. I had a rough time there.
I just realized i was wrong. Thats not what i thought it was. But i think you are close.
Haha, yeah, the two plazas (de San Francisco and de Armas) are literally right next door to each other, but these are pictures of La Catedral de Cusco in the Plaza de Armas. WHere else did you go in South America?? I am planning on doing a road trip from Montevideo to Buenos Aires to Rio in July.
I have been all over, Its much more interesting in a conversation rather than a list of places. Its been years since I have seen you. I graduated in '05. You were a year under me right? I am really glad to see that you are traveling. Since the day I graduated it was so important to me to see the world. There are so many different cultures around the world and i want to get a chance to explore them all.
I have pictures on my facebook from some of the places I have been. But my first time in South America I spent some time in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Lima, and Cusco, Peru. Somewhere In Ecuador that was aweful, And Caracas, Venezuela. I was working for Gloria Estefan at the time.
Beautiful photos! Looks like a great trip.

Ay Dios Mio! Quiero ir a Perú.

Hahaha you were eyeing the guinea pig, weren't you Jenny??

¡Tienes que ir! En serio... Le encantarás Machu Picchu!
You guys were mingling with natives and that is awesome. the more you are with them the more you get to know the country and its traditions. I would like to know what that beautiful stone wall of colors was! When I travelled to Argentina,I decided to rent an apartment in buenos aires and I was close to a place called "Tierra Santa" that had walls like the one in your picture. But "Tierra Santa" is a recreation of a religios story of the bible. It is very interesting even if you are not a Catholic.

Hi Kim, thanks for stopping by! In the wall, there is a 12-sided stone that is famous because the Incans who built the wall were able to make it fit perfectly into the wall without using any kind of tools or filler. Cool, huh?
